In peacetime and in war, the United States Navy is always on patrol, protecting the United States of America and her interests for more than 235 years and counting. On the land, over the air, and under the sea, the Navy has ships and personnel stationed at all times around the world, making this service probably the most deployed and active of the armed services, even while we have Army troops stationed in such places as Iraq and Afghanistan. The modern US Navy is a marvel of logistics and engineering; with its various fleets it can project military power all around the world within days, even hours of the order, with any amount of strength the commanders need to fulfill any mission they’re given. Other navies wish they had it so good. But it is a testament to the skill and daring of the men and women of the US Navy that makes this proud service excellent. To them, a set of Enamel US Navy Cufflinks are a great way to show US Navy pride and accomplishment. Excellent additions to any dress uniform, enlisted or officer, these novelty cufflinks feature the American Bald Eagle holding a golden anchor with the words United States Navy emblazoned and wrapped with a gold cord. These cufflinks would make perfect gifts accompanied with similar neckties to present and former sailors who serve and support the modern US Navy with courage, pride and distinction they have in the past and continues to do so for another century or so to come.

Are you a basketball player? Does standing up make your ears pop due to the sudden change in altitude? Do you have to duck to pass under a standard door? Is your world filled with Lilliputians? If you answer yes to any one of these questions, then you often are faced with a problem; getting clothes that fit you. You don’t have to be as tall as a typical basketball player to understand how frustrating that can be. And expensive. Often times, men with that situation have to see a tailor to custom-make clothing that fit comfortably, or go into specialty shops or have large shoes ordered specially online. It’s at one part pride and frustration to be so tall, and naturally this also goes for neckties. Standard neckties are set at a certain length, roughly sixty inches, which is good for average sized men, but not so good if you look as though you could play for the Boston Celtics. A tie like that might only come down to just below your chest or your belly-button. What you need are extra long ties with enough of a variety to cater to your interests and tastes. Ties like the handmade Burgundy – Grey Extra Long Silk Necktie is about sixty-four inches, and features a crisp dark red and grey dot pattern that’ll look perfect with any long and tall outfit. Taller men need larger sizes and silk ties like these at least ease some of the frustration experienced when shopping in a world filled with littler people.

Neckties are an essential part of any man’s wardrobe. They are the ribbon bow that ties up the presentation a man gives with his formal ensemble. They are also a great way to change up a man’s wardrobe from day to day, especially if he’s just starting out in the world, fresh from school with little formally to wear until he can get settled in. A man might go two, possibly three days wearing the same tie, but four is really pushing it, and five is simply out of the question. That might work for a maitre’D, but for professional business and office environments it will be noticable, and probably not in a good way. So a man should have at least a dozen ties, with the red power tie, black uniform tie, and the solid blue silk tie to offset the harder colors as being standard equipment. Once you’ve gone through those, you’ll need ties that catch the eye in a pleasant way and complements what you’re wearing, which is why you need tartan plaid ties. Tartan ties, evocative of Scottish and Irish clan patterns, deliver a striking contrast to a white shirt and dark coat. The Navy Blue Lavender Michael Kors Silk Men’s Tie is a beautiful example that would go well with a grey, black, or dark blue suit, and is dramatic enough to serve as a delightful contrast at a nightclub or sports arena. If you’ve gone two or three days wearing the same red power tie, put a tartain plaid tie on and see how people notice what you wear. You’ll come to appreciate the results.

You probably have a wide ensemble now, but you’re afraid of, well, looking a bit too much like everyone else. You’ve got a number of suits and coats, slacks and shirts, cufflinks and neckties but it all seems the same. Nothing that helps you stand apart from the crowd when you’re out on the town for an evening or giving presentations to clients. You’ve got enough power ties to light up the city, but it’s enough to almost stereotype you into something that you may not be able to control, where everyone’s expectations of you then dictate what kind of colors you wear from there on out. Why not stand out a little bit with something different: Silver? A Silver Solid Silk Tie, combined with something striking such as a black shirt with a dark suit, double or single breasted, with silver cufflinks will surely draw a lot of attention. Silver is both bold and evocative, and when it matches with what you have it only accentuates in contrast to the darker colors you cast it on. After all, too much color can obscure your luster, and with just the right austere pattern and look you can break out of the norm and set trend of your own that backbenchers would end up following due to the success it engenders. Solid silk ties will give you all the more options for your wardrobe that you need in order to differentiate your outfit as the need arises to set yet another trend.

Most people do not have red eyes. Meaning, they don’t have red corneas. Usually if you happen to run into someone like that it might be a good idea to keep your distance. They might be possessed by evil spirits or have supernatural qualities. It’s not likely. There might be a valid explanation for their stark and disturbing appearance, but nonetheless you can’t really match red neckties to your eye color unless you just happen to be a vampire or something. This brings up the point that some colors go well for certain situations, and softer, more mellow colors on your outfit are simply more inviting. Take the Denim Blue Satin Silk Neck Tie. Wearing something like this, especially if you happen to have blue eyes custom made to match, present a very inviting appearance that is pleasant on the eye and can make you a bit more attractive to be around for longer periods of time. This tie goes well with dark blue suits and outfits, serving as a dramatic accent to the overall presentation, which, coupled with its own soothing effect for the viewer is great for the workplace, or at the night club, or with a date. With these and other solid silk ties to choose from you can create a wide diversity of pleasant and professional outfits to go with any situation you might think of, including excellent red ties for those who want a little supernatural spark in their professional expression, even if they’re not really supernatural.

It is just one of those things that you are judged by what you wear by those whom you know and whom you don’t. You simply say more with what you wear than with what you say with cheap words. People can and do say anything because words are particularly cheap, and some try to hide who they are by what they say. They can do the same with what they wear as well. It comes down to appearances, and in social circles your appearance is the foundation of your entire presentation. A classy, formal presentation can mean, at the very least, that you know how to put on a tie, and that you might know what fork to start with during a nine-course meal. Whether you really know any of that or not then becomes up to you. But take the case of neckties. A tie is the bow that ties up that present you’re giving to others. A Black Solid Silk Tie can give you a very professional and austere look that states authority and manners. It’s no wonder that Hollywood has given g-men and other government agents the black tie because of how it conveys a stern, serious bearing. When coupled with a white shirt under a double-breasted suit coat, the solid black tie is at once both modest and courtly, and goes even better with the standard black and white tuxedo. Consider this with other solid silk ties when deciding the very touch to give to the image you’re going for.

When you’re just starting out, having an idea of what kind of professional business attire to wear can be a bit daunting. Shoes, shirts, slacks, jackets and sports coats and neckties can make anyone bewildered. What do you wear for what, and when, and how often? And even so, how do you know if you look okay? How do you know the guy or gal selling you those shirts are being objective, or if they just want you to break out your credit card? Well, there are some things that are tried and true, almost considered standard for men’s formal apparel. Take the red tie. The red tie is known for its ubiquitous features, in that it could be worn for just about any occasion short of a black-tie formal dinner party or wedding. It was, and still is, a power tie, in that the color red is fiery and evocative, inspiring you and those around you confidence and “power” to succeed. The Crimson Red Tie, for instance, is but one of a many solid silk ties that every man ought to possess, and this particular one is more than suitable as a “standard” part of your wardrobe. Perfect for work and play, and even a wedding if you’re not expected to wear a tux, a red tie should be a mainstay, along with a set of dark slacks, a dark suit, white button-down shirts, a set of silver or gold cufflinks, and a pair of casual low-quarters dress shoes.

Fresh graduates are often at a loss on how to go about finding a job. Those who garnered top honors may not have much of a problem since the companies approach them and not the other way around, but the average students are expected to find it more difficult to be included in such blatant recruitment. They will have to exert more effort to draft their resumes and dress to impress.
What should fresh graduates wear to interviews, anyway? Some applicants think that they should wear something edgy and top of the line fashionable to grab the attention of the interviewer. Still others would argue that it is okay to wear jeans and shirts as long as they have neckties. Still others seek to dress like middle aged men in oversized dull colored suits to deliver the impression of responsibility that they think the suit emits.
There are so many conflicting opinions that would be hard to understand or follow. The problem is that wrong advice may lead to a lost opportunity. In the world’s current economic state and overflowing population, a lost opportunity is a big thing; hence, it is a good idea to be prepared from the beginning. Wear something that the interviewer can appreciate but will not distract from the meat of the interview – your answers to interview questions and your potential for the job.
For tall young men, try the extra long brown ties. Dark brown suits signal responsible and fashionable yet trendy. Match these with Shades of Brown Mens Extra Long Tie and you’re all set. Now, all you need to do is focus on the interview questions.

Men should wear neckties. Whether for business meetings or semi-formal events, a tie makes a man look more appropriately dressed, with the caveat that the man is wearing a tie that matches with his shirt and suit. The necktie, just like any other accessory, needs someone who knows how to use it in order to function well. It must not only be the right color and pattern but also the right length. A very tall man in a dark brown suit, for instance, should wear extra long brown ties. Whether or not there is a pattern on that tie, it still has to be extra long to balance the length of the torso of the person wearing it.
How does one choose a colored tie, then? If you aren’t sure about your sense of style, try to stick with the basics. This Shades of Brown XL Tie, for example, will go perfectly with a range of brown shirts. The Shades of Brown XL Tie will complement any shade of brown shirt, whether plain or patterned themselves. The shade blends of this particular necktie are also very subtle and can be matched with a good range of brown shirts, whether for office wear or evening wear. Stay away from prints that are too busy or too large. If you are still unsure about what looks good, bring a girl shopping with you. Whatever she says will look good on you, you should probably buy. After all, apart from the boss, the ladies are whom you should aim to impress.
